Governing Bodies of the Association
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the highest executive body of the Association. It carries out the strategic management of the Association’s activities, makes key decisions, and approves programs, projects, internal regulations, and the main directions for the Association’s development.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board oversees the Association’s activities, ensuring compliance with its statutory objectives, principles of financial transparency, and ethical standards. Its work is aimed at ensuring accountability, trust, and the sustainability of the Association in the eyes of its members and partners.
Structural Units of the Uygur Halk Derneği
Administrative Unit
Responsible for organizing the Association’s internal operations, coordinating between units, managing documentation and correspondence, and preparing meeting minutes and internal regulations.
Legal Unit
Provides legal support for the Association’s activities, offers legal consultation, carries out advocacy initiatives, ensures compliance with the Charter, and protects the rights of Association members.
Financial Affairs Unit
Responsible for preparing and implementing the budget, managing membership fees and donations, preparing financial reports, controlling expenditures, and ensuring financial transparency.
Membership and Member Relations Unit
Manages membership procedures, maintains member records, strengthens communication with members, and works to increase participation and internal interaction within the Association.
Education Unit
Organizes courses, seminars, conferences, educational programs, and similar activities in accordance with Article 4.1 of the Association’s Charter.
Culture Unit
Responsible for organizing festivals, exhibitions, concerts, national holidays, and other cultural events in accordance with Article 4.3 of the Charter.
Press and Media Unit
Conducts the Association’s publishing and promotional activities, manages the official website and social media accounts, produces digital content, and ensures information dissemination (Charter Article 4.2).
Social and Aid Unit
Implements assistance programs for those in need, social support projects, and humanitarian aid activities in accordance with Article 4.4 of the Charter.
International Relations Unit
Develops the Association’s international cooperation, implements cultural and humanitarian projects, and coordinates relations with foreign institutions and organizations (Charter Articles 4.5 and 9).
Additional Units

Projects and Development Unit
Develops and implements social, cultural, and educational projects; seeks partners, grants, funding opportunities, and explores new areas of activity.
Youth Unit
Encourages youth participation in the Association’s activities and implements educational, cultural, and social projects aimed at young people.
Women’s Unit
Implements educational, social, and cultural support programs for Uyghur women.
Digital / IT Unit
Manages the technical infrastructure of the Association’s website and digital platforms, develops digital services, and ensures information security and stable operation of digital systems.
