LATEST ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Uygur Halk Derneği Association plans to organize educational seminars dedicated to Uyghur culture, language, and traditions. These initiatives aim to preserve the cultural heritage of the Uyghur people, strengthen national identity, and pass knowledge on to future generations in the context of modern society and globalization.
The seminars are expected to introduce participants to the history of the Uyghur people, the development of the Uyghur language, oral and written cultural heritage, as well as traditional customs, values, and spiritual foundations that shape Uyghur cultural identity. Special attention will be given to the role of culture in the life of the diaspora and its importance in maintaining intergenerational continuity.
The seminars are envisioned as an open educational platform for members of the Uyghur community, youth, researchers, students, and everyone interested in cultural diversity and the history of Turkic peoples. Planned formats may include lectures, thematic sessions, discussions, and interactive activities.
Through these seminars, Uygur Halk Derneği aims to create a space for knowledge exchange, dialogue, and cultural interaction, while promoting Uyghur culture in Turkey and at the international level as part of its long-term cultural and educational strategy.
